Check out this 100 piece block set! I can remember our therapists used blocks to get the kids to work on their hand-eye (vision and occupational therapists), their core functions and to stand (their physical therapist) as they repeatedly had to bend over and reach up and eventually reach up. They probably both did some form of block play in therapy for a year or more.
