I'm a mom to three boys who we call our three peas in a pod. Two of our sons have ARPKD: autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease. When I am not with the three peas I am a part time special education teacher, which I have been doing now for 15 years. I mostly work with children who are blind and visually impaired but I also do developmental evaluations for children entering into early intervention in the suburbs north of New York City.
