| About Me | Therapeutic parent, wife, unemployed social worker, mom to biokids Ponito(13) and his sister Bob(16). Sibling pair adoptive placement from NE foster care 11/06. Finally finalized on Kitty(17) on 3/08 – 2 weeks before her 13th birthday! Kitty is diagnosed with RAD, C-PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, cerebral dysrhythmia (brain injury causing memory and processing issues), emerging borderline personality disorder, emotional/social age of 6, and was abused. Finalized on her brother Bear(19) 7/08. He turned 15 the next day. Bear is diagnosed with RAD, C-PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, ADD, cerebral dysrhythmia, traits of personality disorders and was abused. He went off his meds and moved out 2/12 and was in jail on first degree felony charges 5 months later. "Saying "no" is not being negative. Negative is saying "yes" to things that are destroying you." |

I kind of feel weird saying that I loved this post since so much of it was about your kids fragile health … but I did. A lot of people could take lessons from you guys.
