Hi, I am a student & at present I am researching Aspergers in girls, ASD has been predominately thought of as a condition for boys but research is now finding it has been underdiagnosed & misdiagnosed in girls. Their are various studies, together with evidence, but no real hard evidence, current diagnostic criteria dom not give examples of types of difficulties, different behaviours in girls compared to boys. I would be grateful for any info, advice, ideas or examples of challenges faced by the girls, their parents & strategies used to overcome them. thank you x
