I am a single adoptive mother to a beautiful 5-year-old boy. My son has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, prenatal meth and crack exposure, and mild cerebral palsy. His neurologist and sleep specialist are also currently trying to diagnose another “problem” and are considering a diagnosis of dysautonomia. We will find out more about that in a few weeks. I am also a pediatric occupational therapist who specializes in sensory integration therapy and autism.
