Has anyone heard of a Doctor in Guadalajara Mexico that has helped kids with no speech, Dr. Aguilar? Apparently he does an EEG and tells you what he can or cannot do to help your child obtain speech. He gives them a liquid, by mouth, that his lab produces.

Hi, My daughter is 9 and has mixed expressive-receptive language delay (MERLD). She only had a few words at 3, and didn’t start using actual conversational language until she was about 5 (her language skills are still very delayed, and conversations are nowhere near easy or intuitive at this point). It is still a struggle [...]

Have you tried using actual ASL with her? We used it with our kids even though they don’t have speech delays, but it was great as a first method of communication before they could use words.
