I’m Abby, mom to Lena and Liberty (11) and Maya (6). I started this group because sometimes I found it difficult to balance the needs of Liberty (Sensory Processing Disorder) and Lena. Things like birthdays (Liberty was afraid of candles and parties, but Lena loved them), dragging Lena to OT appointments where it seemed like Liberty was getting all the attention and having fun. The challenge of having 2 kids the exact same age, trying not to compare them. The list goes on.
I hope we can learn from and encourage each other!
