Organizing … Specialized!

Organizing…Specialized is group where we help each other with the home organizing challenges we face raising children with special needs. While our moderator is a Professional Organizer, she is not able to personally address each question raised, especially as the group grows. We can all share our tips, offer suggestions and help one another. Leslie will address as many questions as she can, but please remember she is our volunteer moderator.

    My nagging tasks:
    Contact professionals regarding test results for my child (been putting these calls off for while)
    Finding and getting a job
    Clean my daughter’s room while she’s in residential treatment
    Spring clean and declutter the whole house
    Put away the Cmas stuff!

    I read somewhere to take the first week in January and make a bunch of general appointments for the year. For health, home, car, etc. I should heed that advice and schedule a physical!…The declutter task is a killer. Always falls back down the list. Or generates more clutter! One small section of kitchen cabinets can take 1 hour, and is much more manageable than the entire kitchen!
