We have 2 special needs kids (ages 17 and 18) and 2 younger “neurotypical” kids (ages 13 and 15). I’m happy to give advice and support, just ask.

Hi MarytheMom! Thanks for replying! Sounds like a good plan with the grandparents! The challenges change every day they get older, don’t they! No grandparents nearby for us. I think we will mostly try to make our own fun at home…in small increments…so I don’t add too much stress and implode!
