Rachel, well, any drug is a risk, and with these drugs there are risks with suicidal thoughts so we have to watch our kids closely. My son is on zoloft and was in part, one of the drugs I believe saved his life. I think with any drug that helps our kids with mental health/behavioral issues we have to always watch closely. My daughter began self-harming and her suicidal ideation increased to an extreme. She became tired and we called her ”Puddle Girl.” BUT… we saw this symptoms almost immediately, and she is diagnosed with bipolar disorder so never should have been put on this med (or Celexa) to begin with!
