my 3 year old has had his angelcare monitor alarm 3 separate nights over the last few weeks – we have 2 under him now – i am concerned because when i go in he’s either not been breathing or has had very very light breathing with what seems to me to be an erratic pulse (not a doctor here…). we now have a consulting paed on the case but she said it could take years for a sleep study. i want a real apnea monitor on him as i’ve read the angelcare monitor has been found by other parents to miss apneas the real apnea monitors catch.
i want to document this to push the system into assessing him sooner.
where do i go to rent/buy an apnea monitor for home? preferrably one that also measures SO2?
