A group to talk about growth issues. They may be related to the growth hormone or happening for no reason. Maybe also a place for suggestions on healthy eating and how to help your child “grow”!

Hi Michele – I’d have to look over my paperwork to confirm where I read this – but I thought there may be some concern with growth hormone and the acceleration of cyst growth in ARPKD patients. We have not yet needed to have the growth hormone conversation with our doctors, so I’m a novice on the topic.

We have an appointment with our nephrologist on Tuesday and that was one question I had for him. I thought I had heard that too. I’ll let you know what he says.
