I completely understand…because, let’s face it, the kids health surrounds everything we do. As far as lessons, well, a lot of it we just make up as we go along.

I kind of feel weird saying that I loved this post since so much of it was about your kids fragile health … but I did. A lot of people could take lessons from you guys.

Cheryl, this is SO hard because I think other family & friends worry about those of us that are in the trenches because they can’t picture it.   Thank You Julia. We agree, our children come first. Amber attends a day program she enjoys. She works and gets a small paycheck and also they have classes for living skills. She enjoys this. We just want Amber to live a fulfilllig life like everyone else does and give her some choices. Where she lives should be one of them. I want to help…[Read more]

I know this has been posted a long time ago- hopefully you’ll find this helpful. What if they failed? What if you told them they could go try anything and they could always know that you would be there for them no matter what? My kids floundered.
