If you’ve been around Support for Special Needs since it’s inception in May 2010, you know that our original focus was to grow a community of people who connected to learn and share. We’ve done a pretty good job of it and a lot of people have come here over the years. We are so grateful for those that continually give of themselves in our community. Thank you.
Since then, it’s become clear that our visitors join us here to learn from our articles so our new focus is again on content our community finds the most helpful. After careful anaylysis, we’ve decided to turn off the forums and focus on articles that educate, inspire and in some case, commiserate.
Some new areas will be daily content that dives into more than personal essays. We’re going to share posts on resources, relationships and sex, lifestyle, health and wellness, daily distractions (and inspiration or just a laugh) and on the good and bad out there in the world of disabilities.
We hope you’ll pull up a chair and join us. We’re glad you’re here.
Note: To support the site we make money on some products, product categories and services that we talk about on this website through affiliate relationships with the merchants in question. We get a small commission on sales of those products. That in no way affects our opinions of those products and services.
