First of all *big hugs* to you

So happy to hear of your son’s accomplishments in spite of his diagnosis.

For me, I don’t just accept everything that comes my son’s (our) way. God is still in the miracle working business…but only for those who expect it.

My Pastor told a story about a man who said he didn’t believe in miracles. The reply was, “You will when you need one.” I firmly believe that. I’ve watched my CJ overcome somethings nobody expected AND regardless of his diagnosis (not his disability), He WILL WALK!

Sylvia, I like the way you think! It’s so important sometimes to keep going through the motions of life because I find that one day it just kicks in – you begin to live it again. Like you, I always need a little bit of time to get used to a new treatment or diagnosis and then I find my footing again.

I hope this is a healthy holiday for you. And I hope if you have challenges that someone brings you your favorite sorbet! Thanks for this article…you are such an amazing friend to share with us.
