Special needs kids at a Park Slope school are being forced to endure three-hour rides – a daily commute one administrator says is “the most abusive thing ever.”
About twenty autistic students at Public School 77K on Park Place take School Bus 150 each day on its excruciating route to and from school.
The kids miss their first class of the day because the bus drops them off an hour late, and then their ride home takes up to three hours, said frustrated parents.
In total, many of the students spend more than four hours on the bus every day.
