4-year-old battling disorder that leaves her speechless

For four-year-old Emma Baublitz, expressing herself is a struggle. Girls her age often squeal and chatter about everything from bugs to Barbie.
But Emma, of Westminster, has a condition called Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, the disorder doesn’t allow a person to say what he or she wants to correctly or consistently. While the disorder is debilitating, its cause has yet to be determined.
